Our client, as many have, found the Houston market extremely competitive when it came to sourcing strong electro-mechanical professionals. Furthermore, the remaining effects of the COVID-19 pandemic had led to a shrinking talent pool, as candidates increasingly prioritized work-life balance over braving Houston's notorious traffic. Consequently, the search could only focus its efforts on those candidates that were commutable to the office, leaving only one-third of the Houston market to aim at.
